Atop a plateau overlooking the plains that stretch to the Sword Coast, Reckenmark Academy is about four days ride from village of Bogdown. Its college of warfare trains troops which provide protections for those that contribute or contract services.
Once a great military and political force, Reckenmark is now a fraction of its former glory. Over the past couple of generations, most of the baronies, cities, and villages in the region stopped sending able-bodied people to train as soldiers, and few continue to contribute much to the coffers. Birthplace of Caius and his family including his grandmother Mordread who posed as his mother, his mother Kitria who posed as his older sister, and Vulheim who is actually his uncle.
