They make out a tail, but not much else as it has been dead for a long time. [[Rumpadump]] relays a thought found hanging in the ether, "He thought about dying for a long time." But not much else can be discerned from the mystery of this giant decaying beast. No smaller beasts devour its corpse, only bacteria work at the carrion creating an awful stench. The party continues forward for another four days of uneventfulness. On the fourth day a strange whistling is heard off the port bow which Jimjar identifies as a whistling cave. The party decides to investigate and finds a large cavern with ribbon of slim rock dangling from the ceiling. As wind blows through them they create sounds. Bree begins playing them with her Gust cantrip. First she tries a single ribbon, learning its intricacies completely before moving onto the next. Within short time she learns how to create notes, and then by playing multiples in tandem how to create chords and harmony. With Caius' help she puts on a performance for the party, creating music by gesticulating wildly at the ceiling and drafting turbulence through its bowels. Finally a clapping at the far end of the cavern is heard. | |||

Tattoos on his entire body give off light as he claps and congratulates Bree and Caius for their performance. He identifies himself as [[Fitheach Dubh]] and requests more entertainment. Bree and Caius oblige and play a couple more numbers for him ensuring a joyful greeting between the party and their latest encounter. Fitheach Dubh asks how the party came to him and what they are doing in the Underdark. The party explains that they were taken from the surface and held captive by drow. To this Fitheach wonders aloud how Jimjar came to be a part of the group, seeing as he is not from the surface. | |||

It was then that he found himself imprisoned by the drow and met the adventurers. The exact nature of the work he performed for the drow was not explained, and upon his guilty confession every member of the party told Jimjar that he must not worry for he was a tested member of [[Stool's Irregulars]] and always would be. | |||

A Mindless Trick
