Darklake

A labyrinthine waterway in the Underdark. Some portions are narrow with low ceilings, others are huge exansive caverns with ceilings to high to estimate. Most areas are extremely deep, although a few areas have rapids. The kuo-toa are well known as skilled navigators of this strange place. The water is murky and unhealthy. In some areas the walls and ceiling have fungus of various sorts. Some areas have wide shores of black sand. There are islands in other areas. Our adventurers encountered a set of rapids which seemed to have pillars every 100 meters or so. They learned that the viscous fish which swim below can be eaten if carefully prepared. In an archipelago they encountered a panther-like beast which seemed to phase in-and-out and teleporting dogs.
