We leave the Darkling's cave.

We row for 6 days with little to break the monotony, then we finally catch a decent number of fish,

Jimjar reveals that his reluctance to visit Blindenstone is nothing more than not wanting to visit with his family.

Finally we make landfall, and after walking for short way, we find a funny-looking rockslide. The stone on the inside of the slide is worked, although the outside looks rough.

Autun (and only Autun) hears a voice calling, asking for help.

We find the entrance. Inside, there is a room with a painting of a woman in purple surrounded by bowing people, and flying rocks with cities on them.

Kais recalls an Elven story of Nethoces Empire - powerful wizards with flying cities. He knows nothing more than this, though.

We follow the stairs down. There are some tattered tapestries and marred paintings. The tapestries look to have been shredded recently.

There's a room with jars and a sarcophagus. The voice calling Autun says it is "down here"; it is apparent that there is no down in the room with the sarcophagus, so we ignore it and take the other door.

This room has 4 sarcophagi, each decorated with a human figure, 2 male and 2 female. Ezri gropes one's tit, and four shades appear. Autun destroys two with two swings of his axe, and the rest of the party makes quick work of the other two - and a good thing, since the shades seem capable of permanently weakening living creatures. We have heard tale that undead with this kind of power are called wraiths.

Kais cheerfully sets about looting the graves.

We find <see Items in sarcophagus>, and see that one of the sarcophagi seems to have grooves where it can slide. Autun moves the sliding sarcophagus to reveal a hole. It contains another sarcophagus, this one gilded. This time we prep for battle - then Caius jumps down the hole. Another shade appears, this one a bit tougher looking than the rest. Still: Autun, Kais, and Jimjar make short work of it.

When we finally have the chance to look around, we see that this room has mosque-like patterns.

Autun trips over an invisible chest; it contains: <see Items in invisible chest>

Autun opens the sarcophagus to find that the voice belongs to Dawnbringer. It is a longsword that emits daylight for 15 feet around it. It also is intelligent, and seems to have decided that Autun should carry it. We head back upstairs, and head toward Blindenstone. Jimjar explains that the city is hard to find even for natives - it moves around. We rest. On the trail the next day, we find a strange filiment. Jimjar explains that it belongs to a cave fisher, hiding on top of the ledge overhanging the trail. Kais sends up Sirene who spies 2 more in the distance. We hatch a plan to deal with the thing: Autun cuts the thread as high as he can reach, but the movement attracts the thing which quickly descends...
