Murdok
This planet is known as Marduk outside of this wiki.
Murdok is a largely uninhabited planet where our travellers began. It is controlled by Sternmore Minerals who extract copper from a large mine and ship it to the Murdok spaceport. From there it is loaded onto passing freighters.
Murdock is similar to earth in size and largely unexplored. It has ice at its north and south pole, near its equator it’s very hot like earth, and in between in ranges in between. It has all the same biomes as Earth(e.g., desert, jungle, savannah, forest, swamp, etc). Not many large mammals or other large animals live on Murdok and no one knows why precisely. Mostly no one has cared to investigate this question that much.
It’s only current settlements are the spaceport near the equator and the mining town in its temperate zone.
Unbeknownst to almost all new residents associated with the mining operations, there are Sindal Empire ruins on Murdok, as well as indigenous human inhabitants.
