The group emerges victorious after the battle with the Gnolls. Afterwards they venture onward and encounter some skeletons in an alcove. The skeletons appear to have been dead for a long time. As [[Autun]] and [[Caius]] approach [[Bree]] plays a trick on them and moves one of the skeleton's arms using prestidigitation. Tricking them into shortly believing that the skeletons may be dangerous. They see through this with the help of [[Kais]]. | |||
Upon searching the skeletons they determine they are [[Kobolds]] who have been dead for a long time and probably raided some Dwarves before dying. [[Bree]] finds some books buried beneath one of them. Most of the books are boring Dwarven volumes that [[Eldeth]] is able to translate. However, one turns out to be a hidden gift from [[Bree]]'s patron, her Book of Shadows. | |||

In a dream, Autun and Stool visit Neverlight Grove. The voice of Mielikki, goddess of the forest reveals that the ecology of the Underdark is now cut-off from the overworld and she can barely feel the presence of life down here. Autun is called to her service over this matter. After waking, all are rested, and ring of Unicorn Hooves has fruited near by.
