Autun, Kais, Caius, Bree, Ezri, Shooshar and Jimjar make it to a little rowing boat and start moving away for Slooblooplop and the Demogorgon. Everyone is getting back to their senses and they set out in the direction of Stool's hometown.

The party notices Autun's liver showing and he suggests he casts a curing spell upon himself and takes a rest as best he can in the boat. Whilst the others take turn rowing.

After Autun wakes up feeling and looking better. Ezri sees a chance to take a rest herself. So do Bree and the others, taking turns. Mighty Autun is able to row hours on end. At some point Ezri is woken up and mumbles something about Vayana. When pressed for details she can only say that Vayana is the daughter of one of Waterdeep's eldermen and is the most perfect and the most beautiful woman in the world. Jimjar doesn't quite get what Ezri means and thinks Vayana is her sister.

Kais proposes to fish for some food. Together with Ezri and some of het tools he fashions four hooks and ties them to strings. Bree casts some magical bait on the hooks that lures the fish. Shooshar guys some fish: putting the innards aside but removes an organ that looks like a little bladder form each and immediately throws those organs overboard.

Once the caught enough fish Ezri purifies the fish and the water the crew filled up their skins with to be sure it's safe to eat. Our party has a meal of underdark sashimi.

At one point lichens on the ceiling start to give off a faint glow. Enough for to spot something that looks like an island. Cautious they try to see if it would be safe to go ashore, but they spot movement and hear grunting noises. Autun halts the boat and the group discusses if it would be wise to get near that beast. It looks taller than Autun and doesn't seem to be very friendly. They decide to create cover and a distraction. Ezri conjures a fog cloud around the beast while Bree conjures some sounds as much on the other side of the troll as is possible.

Quietly they move past the beast without drawing any of its attention towards the boat. The rowing continues until they notice current picking up the pace of the boat.

Portage boat down rapids

Get ashore for sleep. Ezri, shooshar and Jimjar have bad dreams. Ezri gets soothed by Caius. Autun has a pleasant dream about buying fabrics. Caius about going to the market with father, when he was a six year old. Bree dreams about having a cart full of animals to sell.

They pass several pairs big stone pillars carved out of the cave walls a hundred feet or so apart. With hinges that used to hold doors couple hundred years ago. Doorsw went both ways, ruled out it to be a lock or dam.

More fishing ensues. With an enormous catch. Fish will be preserved as rations, Shooshar directs to a salt lake for the required salt.
