Aboleth are fish-like aberrations with psionic abilities perhaps related to illithids.
The adventurers encountered a 40 foot long dead beast floating in the Darklake and at first mistook it for the neothelid that Ezradaur spoke of, but Fitheach Dubh informed them it was an aboleth.
