Seb was captured in the Whorlstone tunnels after Nerrick's ritual was halted by melee. Seb had not participated in the fighting and the adventurers were inclined to kindness towards the frail and frightened derro. Seb was brought to Clan Cairngorm as witness along with additional evidence of the accursed rituals. As an apology he offered to show the adventurers something he called the Dark Monolith.
