Basidia was one of two myconid sovereigns who reigned in Neverlight Grove. He spoke to the adventurers about his concerns about his fellow ruler and provided them with a valuable gem as well as potions in thanks for services rendered. He also blessed Jimjar and Shuushar with words of health, ensuring that they would be better prepared for the challenges to come.
Eventually, Basidia decided to take those members of his clan who had not yet fallen under Zuggtmoy's sway and travel with them to a place where he felt they would be safer. He plans to journey to Araumycos, but struggled with explaining to the adventurers just where that would be.
As parting thanks, he gifted the adventurers a very large diamond.
