No Ezri
[[Bree of the Lightfoot | Bree]] and [[Caius Reckenmark | Caius]] take first watch, and have a heartfelt talk about Bree's patron. They agree on the codeword "Caprici" for Bree to use when her Patron is telling her to do something. They also completely ignore the actual watching part of the watch.
 
[[Kais Foxglove | Kais]] and [[Sirene]] take second watch. They hear a strange wind; after a half hour or so it passes. [[Autun]] and [[Ezri]] hear nothing on third watch.
 
After our rest, we do our best to restore [[Entemoch's Boon]] to its former state. Kais and Autun try to reassemble the pieces of one broken pillar, while Ezri and Caius work on another. Bree uses her ''Mend'' spell to restore the pieces when the team agrees that they have a correct join. Kais and Autun get their pillar restored fairly quickly; Caius and Ezri end up bickering over theirs and throwing gravel at each other. Autun and Kais step in to help.  We raise the pillars by making a pile of boulders, dirt, gravel, and dead basilisk to act as a ramp for carrying up chunks of pillar, and Autun eats a bigwig mushroom to be large enough to place the last pieces. We experiment with feeding him a second bigwig to see if he grows big enough to avoid needing the mound of dirt, but a second bigwig seems to have no effect. The process of repairing, moving the mound, and placing the stones is slow, but at the end of the first day all but one pillar is restored - we decide to press on through the night but change our minds when the strange wind returns. Caius raises his magic hut and we hide inside it, and take another rest. The wind continues to howl through the night, and after our rest we decide to brave it to try to restore the last pillar. Bree can sense that the wind is evil, and Autun can sense that it is not of this plane. He feels it is seeking things made of stone. Although it evokes an unsettling feeling, it doesn't seem to actually cause harm, and we are able to complete our repairs. When the last stone of the last pillar is replaced, the place again glows with the light we saw when we arrived.
 
We decide that we should return, but not leave the temple unguarded - we decide to use the summoning stone to summon an [[earth elemental]] to guard it. The elemental Bree summons tells us his name, but it is a sound like grinding rock. We decide to name it [[Rocky]]. We instruct Rocky to guard the temple, but to follow the instructions of the gnomes if they come to reclaim the temple... unless they seem to be insane, in which case Rocky should not follow their instructions. We also tell Rocky to join us once the gnomes have secured the temple. Rocky gives us a shard of itself, which will presumably allow it to find us later.
 
Our return to Blingdenstone is easier than the outward journey; we are getting the hang of recognizing the strange slips in dimensions that seem to occur in these tunnels, and are rarely caught by surprise. We encounter no one, although we hear footsteps running away at some point. We leave some food behind, in case it was the starving Drow. We could probably manage a rest at the end of the first day, but decide to press onward to get the news back as soon as possible.
 
We arrive in Blingdenstone and ask for [[Gurnik Tapfinger | Gurnik]] and [[Nomi Pathshutter | Nomi]] to meet us at the inn. Bree brings her egg upstairs, and leaves it under the watch of Shuushar. She tells him that it is her baby. Shuushar, having no knowledge of hobbit reproduction, assumes that she means this literally.
 
While we are having dinner at the inn, Gnomi and Gurnik meet us, and we tell them what we've seen. The destruction of the temple is attributed to the battle with the basilisks, without getting overly specific about what exactly destroyed the columns. Gurnik plans to send a party to go to the temple and to try to banish [[Ogremoch's Bane]]. She also tells us that we need to get to the war council immediately, to join in the planning for the upcoming battle.
