A labyrinthine waterway in the [[Underdark]]. Some portions are narrow with low ceilings, others are huge exansive caverns with ceilings to high to estimate. Most areas are extremely deep, although a few areas have rapids. The [[kuo-toa]] are well known as skilled navigators of this strange place. The water is murky and unhealthy. In some areas the walls and ceiling have fungus of various sorts. Some areas have wide shores of black sand. There are islands in other areas.
